Light and Shadow Energy Healing is a new reiki practice in Salem, MA. Located in the Shetland Park area, the office is steps away from the Pickering Warf shopping district.

Jozef’s story

A lifelong resident of Massachusetts, Joe discovered Reiki after moving to Salem in 2013. His experience receiving acupuncture for nerve pain had familiarized him with the benefits of energetic manipulation, and reiki’s ability to help physical and mental ailments through gentle low-touch and no-touch techniques intrigued him. When a neighbor gifted him a massage table, he saw it as a sign from the universe. He decided to learn to channel reiki for himself.

He opened Light and Shadow Energy Healing in 2025 to help residents and visitors of Salem expand their healing journey through reiki.

Jozef has a background in the fine arts and likes to spend his free time taking long walks outdoors, looking for interesting rocks that he tumbles at home. He lives in Salem with his wife Rebekah, a longtime Pagan and tarot card reader, and his two cats, Juliette and Alexander Graham Bell.

Directions and Parking

The question everyone asks about Salem, “Where do I park?” One of the reasons Sheltland Park was chosen as an office location is the availability of parking. The office is just over the bridge from Pickering Wharf on Congress street. Please refer to the map for parking. You can park in any green or blue area for free, red and maroon are reserved. There is also a paid parking garage (violet) with an entrance off Lynch St.

When you get to Shetland park, Light and Shadow is on the third floor of Building One. This is the most northerly building and is on the left when you enter the parking lot. It is right behind the little house where Stardust is located.

Light and Shadow is in Suite 305, the Small Business Center. Enter at either the front or side entrances to Building One and take the elevator to the third floor. Suite 305 is about halfway down the corridor. There are two entrances to Suite 305, please refer to the map to find Light and Shadow in room 19.
